exporting containers

One of my first to do was creating the shipment cargos on docks.
Designer gave me her sketch and explain how they should be.

No idea how they actually were. No references at all. Had to research what we used to imported / exported then.



Came up with some ideas from old labels.



I didn't count how many I've done. Silk, porcelains, rapeseed oils... written on some straw like sheets. In the end I found that stencil works quicker and easier than writing everything.
Painter painted dirty afterwards.


After they shot that scene, some of them painted over as scarlet for the wedding luggages. Painted celebrating letters in gold on them.
